Came here for a quick breakfast the empanadas were delicious. I tried the fried version and the baked version. Coffee was great.

Although the menu is a bit expensive, the food quality is pretty solid. I can't rationalize $5+ / empanada so I usually go for a breakfast burrito. You can get it with sausage or bacon and they are HUGE. My favorite part is that they come with crunchy tater tots inside. They serve a pretty good sightglass cold brew I like and the staff is always super friendly. Order online for quick pick up and take it down the street to the enjoy at the beach!

Yummy breakfast burritos and empanadas!! All breakfast burritos should have tater tots like this one, it was soo good! I think this place is known for their empanadas, so I had to get a few empanadas to go. Although I didn't eat the empanadas fresh, they were just perfect after air frying it for a few mins the next day. The carne empanada was my fav one! Very friendly staff and lots of seating inside with lots of natural lighting. There's also a restroom all the way in the back too. Definitely recommend stopping by for some empanadas or breakfast burritos!

We came here because we heard about their churros so we decided to give it a try. The ambiance of the place is modern. The person who took our order was nice enough to explain what was in the empanadas. We ordered the Cappuccino, Churros, and Carne Empanada. The Cappuccino, I was told wasn't made well and didn't taste good. The Churros were good, it came out hot with a dusting of powdered sugar. The Carne Empanada was tasty with our option of being fried which made the skin more crunchy and I think it is better than the baked option. They had a sign about preferring a no electronics environment which gave a feeling of hesitation to go in. I may come back to get take out.

We've been to Chalos before and it continues to be just as amazing. The empanadas are soo good. The crust is buttery and the filling so delicious. What I love is that there are so many options for the empanadas. You can pick and choose the flavors and that you want. But honestly, you can't go wrong with whatever you choose. Each of the empanadas are stamped with letters to indicate what the filling is inside too.

This spot is a hidden gem in the parkside neighborhood. Although it is tucked away, their empanadas are very authentic and they have an amazing breakfast burrito. Having studied abroad in Argentina, I am always looking for authentic empanadas in my city and this place hits the spot. Their breakfast burrito (I'm unsure why I haven't seen it on doordash) has the crunchy tatertots in there and is a decent size. I prefer the breakfast burritos with the tatertots as it adds a crunchy texture when eating. It is one of the best I've had in the city and I've tried a ton so far. Definitely a fun foodie try in the city!

This hit so hard after my run on the Great Highway! My boyfriend and I ordered the breakfast burritos and it had everything that I love - eggs, cheese, sausage, tater tots (super crispy!), and pico. I also ordered a coffee and my boyfriend got a mocha, both of which tasted great. The service was also very great and the workers were friendly. Will definitely be back to try their empanadas!

i'm on the hunt to find the best breakfast burrito in SF. i know chalos specializes in argentine-style empanadas (i'll have to come back to try those), but don't sleep on their breakfast burrito! it comes with eggs, cheese, salsa, and tater tots for $11.50. adding bacon or sausage is +$2. the tortilla looked flame grilled, which is a plus in my book! this is a sizable burrito that will keep you full because they pack it with tots (whether that's good or bad is up to you lol). it was a bit dry for my liking with all the tots, but the tapatio came in handy. you also get the option of mild or hot salsa -- we both asked for hot, but there was no heat to be found. so we used the tapatio for the extra kick and to make it less dry. their dulce de leche latte was also yummy, but on the pricey side for the size. overall a solid breakfast burrito option if you're in the area!

I saw the pictures (and reviews) talking about the breakfast burrito, and I was sold. Swung in around 9:30 on a Sunday and it wasn't crazy busy. Nice spacious spot with lots of seating and a solid menu. We got the #1 Carne empanada and a breakfast burrito with breakfast sausage, along with a hot mocha with oat milk. The burrito is one of the better ones I've had! The tater tots inside are perfectly fried and crisp, the eggs are not overcooked, and I loved the slight char on the tortilla. Half was just enough food for me to share with my boyfriend. The mocha was actually not too sweet, which was a pleasant surprise. There is one small bathroom. Nothing crazy, but it was clean and stocked.

We were at a Night Market in SF, and stumbled upon their pop-up stall. They were so nice and friendly. We tried some samples of their empanadas and were hooked. Baked Empanadas - Mushroom (2) - Sweet Beef (1) Both were deliciously full of flavor. I liked the Mushroom but my wife liked the beef flavor more.
